Job Title: Transaction Manager – Madrid Office
Benchmark International is a market-leading Mergers and Acquisitions specialist, handling company sales across all areas of the SME and corporate mid-market.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established organisation and become an integral member of our Transactions Team.
We are seeking a driven and motivated business professional, based in Madrid, to join our efficient, well organised, and highly proficient central operations office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Always maintain the highest standards of professional behaviour, and act as a role model to team members.
* Be responsible for the delivering of an annual fee target for the team (target to be reviewed annually and to be agreed with the Managing Director).
* Lead major deals, and double-head complex transactions to support your deal leaders, where appropriate.
* Manage and motivate the team members to ensure that performance and client service levels are maximised.
* Set and monitor appropriate targets and KPIs for all team members.
* Support and assist senior members of staff to ensure new initiatives, and policies are implemented across your team.
* Ensure that appropriate training is provided to your team members to aid their development.
* Allocate (and reallocate where necessary) files across the team members.
* Attend and contribute at senior management meetings.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure the timely progression of client files.
* Monitor and assist (where necessary) with the progression of all files in the team through to completion.
* Monitor Interest received by your team and ensure that prospects are processed promptly and proactively.
* Attend to recruitment and other HR matters pertaining to the team.
* Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
