Technology Area Manager - Paper making Disruption M/F
Main accountabilities and responsibilities :
• Lead and /or support Disruptive Innovation activities, collaborating with internal and external resources.
• Spot trends in businesses and industries – unrelatedly different - and find ways to incorporate.
• Run Open Innovation campaigns. Talk to vendors, suppliers, academics; facilitate cross-sectional or -functional internal campaigns with diverse groups of people.
• Manage Cooperation and Development agreement set up to secure Innovation advancement.
• Create plans and implement action-plans based on limited information by extrapolating and integrating, defining resources requirements.
• Build proof of concept and stage & gate plans for the activities.
• Develop, pilot and lead testing activities internally and externally.
• Establish relation of transformational steps and impact on resources usage and product performance.
• Develop scale up strategies from laboratory to pilot, and from pilot to industrial
• Create Success metrics focusing on learning and validating assumptions
• Adopt CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, Validation) in Laboratory and Pilot tests
• Identify, mitigate and eliminate risks during development activities.
Experience and qualification requirements :
• Preferably University Degree in Chemistry, biochemistry or Engineering
• Experience in technology and/ or R&D in either pulp making, tissue making or adjacent processes (example: non-woven).
• Curious, Creative, capable to challenge status quo on established processes transformational steps
• Courage of doing something radically new, mindset of defying gravity of the existing norms and beliefs
• Persistent, Purpose driven, demonstrate initiative and entrepreneurship
• Learning ability, exploring attitude, going outside to stretch the inside
• Commercial and financial knowledge to prepare, manage and forecast development activities
• International work experience
• Internal and External Stakeholders Management
• Experience in leading a multi-functional international team in challenging work environments.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written skills
