IT Support Engineer – (German Speaking) for the German Market (EMEA)Hybrid (2-3 days in the Office)We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our EMEA IT Support team, based in Barcelona, with a strong focus on supporting the German market .In this role, you will provide high-quality remote IT support to end users across EMEA, acting as a key contact for incidents, requests, and workplace IT needs. You will also be involved in hardware lifecycle management, onboarding of new employees, and collaboration with global IT teams to ensure stable and secure IT services.Provide remote IT support from Barcelona to users across EMEA, with primary focus on German-speaking usersHandle incidents and service requests related to hardware, software, and internal IT infrastructure, ensuring timely resolutionInstall, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals according to global IT standardsSupport user onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and basic IT guidanceWork closely with Global IT teams and local stakeholders to resolve issues efficientlyMonitor and support IT security measures, including software and antivirus updatesMaintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articlesSupport asset management, inventory tracking, and hardware lifecycle planningAct as a reliable IT contact for local management and contribute to reporting activities
Proven experience in an IT Support / IT Service Desk role within a corporate environmentStrong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and standard workplace IT toolsExperience with ITSM / ticketing tools (ServiceNow is a strong plus)Solid understanding of PC hardware, basic networking (TCP/IP), and remote support toolsGerman language (native or C-level) is mandatory; good English communication skills requiredCustomer-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsProactive, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a global IT organisation across time zones
