We are looking for an energetic, curious, and driven commercial leader to drive the Company’s sales efforts in Spain with a focus on the greenhouse and outdoor agriculture sector. A real hunter and networker with a proven sales track record based on trust and a relevant customer base. You will work closely in a diverse and highly motivated team with short lines of communication including to executive management. You will have a voice and be responsible for delivering work that you are proud of and solving relevant customer problems. Water scarcity, pathogen control, soil health and growing highly efficient, high quality crops is what you will offer solutions for.
The Company offers an attractive base salary with uncapped commissions on all achieved revenue. Top sales performers have consistently earned outsized compensation.
Tasks
- Execute and continue to improve upon, with the support of management and sales team, the Company’s “Go-to-Market” sales strategy mainly in the Spanish Region for existing and new nanobubble generation products to the Agriculture and Horticulture market.
- Focus on direct and indirect sales of the Company’s Nanobubble Generators by identifying and managing sales opportunities through the sales process from initiating pitch to negotiations to deal closing
- Identify, train and manage channel partners, where appropriate, across the region.
- Prospecting: Identify and research potential target accounts using various sources such as industry databases, social media platforms, and company websites.
- Qualification: Conduct thorough needs analysis and qualification of prospects to determine their fit and potential as customers. Identify key stakeholders and understand their roles in the decision-making process.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through effective communication and follow-up. Understand their challenges, goals, and objections, and provide relevant solutions and information.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Update and manage the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting and work with the company’s CRM.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues from the sales team, marketing team, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies, share insights, and optimize lead generation and conversion processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position our products and services during sales interactions.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads, sales opportunities, and revenue generation.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years in a commercial role within the Agriculture/Horticulture market in Spain, for instance from selling technical equipment like irrigation equipment, water treatment equipment, crop enhancing products, fertilizers, biostimulants or different.
- Existing trusted network of farmers and cooperatives
- Understanding what consultative selling means
- Ability to cold call regularly other potential customers
- An understanding of growing conditions, plant physiology, soil conditions, water quality
- Fluent in Spanish and English - spoken and written. Arabic and/or Portuguese languages are a plus.
