This will continue to position BDC as a leader in advisory services for SME.The incumbent is also responsible for the development and delivery of learning programs dedicated to entrepreneurs via e-learning solutions, group and executive programs.Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Quebec and Atlantic and Advisory Services, the incumbent will promote BDC-s cultural norms and demonstrate enthusiasm for Canadian entrepreneurs, as well as the organization-s mission, vision and values.CHALLENGES TO BE METLead the strategic planning process for the advisory services management team, play a leadership role in the development and deployment of the group-s solutions and initiatives. Ensure that initiatives are in line with BDC-s strategy and targets.Provide strategic direction to advisory services, including governance, preparation and communications with the Chief Operating Officer-s Committee, as well as with the other committees, and the establishment of key performance indicators.Support the revision of our business model to continue to increase our reach not only in consulting mandates, but also through other approaches that aim to retain our clients, including our less well-served clienteles.Lead the evolution and expansion of the BDC Academy programs, which provide learning solutions for entrepreneurs, including executive retreats, the e-Learning platform, and other events such as expert roundtables.Support teams with diversified expertise - strategy, solution development, Academy - by strengthening the positioning with internal and external stakeholders in the advisory services group.Support the deployment of advisory services knowledge across the organization to increase the impact of our sales force with entrepreneurs.Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of BDC-s activities and the environment in which it operates, whether with internal or external groups, including agencies and Crown corporations active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Canadian SMEs, foreign development banks, etc.Work closely with partnership members and other stakeholder teams in all strategic initiatives that will impact the Advisory Servicessolutions and initiatives. The incumbent contributes to the implementation of partnership agreements specific to advisory services.Establish and maintain close relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the Marketing, the Public Relations and the Corporate Communications departments, to ensure the use of appropriate channels for conveying communications to relevant stakeholders.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor of Commerce or any other related degree; a graduate degree wouldbe an asset. to years of relevant experience, including 5 to 7 years in roles related to strategic development and advisory services solutions.Proven experience as a leader of teams with diversified expertise.Experiencein the advisory services sector is required.Knowledge of the consulting environment and its ecosystem.Strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to interact with and directly influence internal and external stakeholders.Highly developed organizational, planning and management skills, coupled with the ability to think proactively and plan.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, in both official languages (French and English).With us, you'll be able to achieve the work/life balance you're looking for, with competitive working conditions and above-market flexible benefits.
