The Chief Procurement Officer reports to the Chief Financial Officer, a member of the Sanofi executive committee. The Procurement organization is divided into five Domains (Manufacturing & Supply, Marketing & Sales, Professional Services, Scientific & Medical, and Digital), leveraging Integral Procurement Operations and the Procurement Center of Excellence & Transformation. The yearly spend coverage is around 15B€ with a special focus on Procurement excellence, Supplier Diversity, and Sustainability. Closely collaborating with Finance, Business Operations, and Business Units, Procurement is instrumental in achieving cost efficiency and savings. It forges strategic partnerships with suppliers, prioritizing innovation and data-driven solutions. As Regional Category Buyer Total Talent Management Services (TTM) for the Europe region, you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units. Core subcategories will be temporary workers, managed services, and recruitment services. This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assisting with building project scopes, consolidating all business needs and specifications, conducting Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiating contract renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and managing overall relationships with key suppliers. You will be the procurement expert in the Europe region for TTM services (meaning External Workforce) while managing all additional procurement categories of the professional services domain in Europe & France when required : Real Estate and Workplace Services : Real Estate, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Security Services, Working Garments, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Supplies, Translation Human Resource Services : Rewards & Performance, Car fleet, Learning & Development, Business Process Outsourcing Supports the Global Lead Buyer or the Regional Category Manager of the category to ensure the strategy's execution Data crunching : Collect, clean, organize, and analyze large volumes of raw data. Leverage advanced Excel formulas and functions (V / Xlookup, index Match, concatenate, SUMIF, IFAND, etc.). Strip out unwanted information and format, translating data into the required format and structuring it for analysis (pareto, charts, etc.) Once these steps are completed, apply analysis tools to the data to glean business insights Leads RFIs / RFPs and contract negotiations for your category Contributes to and / or leads local projects according to Category Management Reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities you are in charge of Supports pre / post-audit management, Crisis management Maintains comprehensive understanding of Procurement Policies / Processes related to Risk / CSR / Compliance, and ensures that these are adhered to by relevant team members Identifies non-compliant processes and defines appropriate corrective measures Audit management 6-10+ years' experience in Procurement or related field Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools / systems accordingly (PowerBI, advanced Excel, Thinkcell, etc.) Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent priorities / projects Defines and balances strategic priorities against immediate operational challenges Strong planning, problem-solving, and responsive decision-making skills Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University (master's degree is preferred) Fluent in English and French German is a plus Watch our ALL IN video and check out our Diversity Equity and Inclusion actions at sanofi.
