Vilanova Quality Engineer
Location: Vilanova, Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Catalonia, Spain
Company: Prysmian – a global cabling solutions provider leading the energy transition and digital transformation.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our plant in Vilanova, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage quality documentation and product certification/homologation.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support visits/audits carried out by customers and certification bodies.
- Assist local quality teams on quality aspects/issues and help apply the Group/Region rules.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices among the Region plants.
- Follow continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 2–3 years in a quality-related role (preferred).
- Knowledge of Excel.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Decision-making attitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork skills, results-oriented, and ambitious mindset.
