Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Roque, Spain for a Head of Fitness Coach. The Jason Floyd Golf Academy works with 60 full time international Junior golf students who are based in the South of Spain in a specialised Golf and Education programme. The Academy team is multi-faceted, working on all aspects of the Mental, Physical and Technical areas of the game.
The academy is seeking a highly motivated individual with Golf specific physical coaching experience and embraces a holistic approach to developing the golfing athlete.
What you will do:
* Lead and deliver our strength & conditioning program
* Design individualized training plans for athletes
* Oversee movement screening, injury prevention, and athletes as they return-to-play
* Integrate golf-specific training (mobility, stability, strength, power and rotation)
* Manage training team and collaborate with golf coaches and performance staff
* Monitor workload, recovery, and athlete readiness
* Help shape a strong, accountable training culture
What we are looking for:
* Degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a similar academic pathway
* S&C xhfqzwm certification (TPI, CSCS, UKSCA, EXOS, or equivalent)
* A sporting background and a sports training background or interest (golf or rotational sports preferred)
* Strong understanding of youth development and high performance
* High energy, organized, well-spoken natural leader
