This role ensures that goods and services are sourced at the best possible value while maintaining quality standards. The position involves managing suppliers, reviewing contracts, overseeing bid proposals, and ensuring compliance with organizational requirements. brKey Responsibilities brReview and optimise suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, and availability. brApprove purchases of high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in accurate quantities. brApprove purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. brProvide guidance to staff on resolving issues related to undelivered or defective goods. brTrain team members on negotiation, renegotiation, and contract administration methods. brCollaborate with staff, users, and vendors to assess defective or unacceptable goods and agree corrective actions. brEvaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and identify areas requiring change or improvement.
