RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing, developing, and maintaining software in a microservices‐based architecture.
Integrate algorithms for space surveillance and tracking systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (aerospace engineers, software engineers, systems engineers, and DevOps engineers).
Participate in system integration, validation, and testing of software components.
Optimize the performance and scalability of high‐performance data processing systems.
Provide support for operating systems and resolve incidents in real‐time environments.
Document developments and ensure compliance with quality standards and space industry standards.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
Solid experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience in designing and using RESTful APIs (Open API/Swagger).
Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL (data modelling, query optimisation).
Experience working with Docker and containerised environments.
Knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with software testing (unit, integration) and clean code practices.
Knowledge of API security (authentication, authorisation, OAuth2, JWT).
Knowledge of Python (e.g., for data processing, scripting, or integration tasks).
Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
Knowledge of event‐driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Experience in the aerospace sector, space systems, or scientific software.
Experience in large‐scale data processing.
