GMV is expanding its Defense sector teams to work on projects in aerospace innovation and multi-component systems, integrating classical algorithms with Artificial Intelligence technologies.
GMV is an experienced technology group seeking a Software Development Team Leader (C++) to join the Tres Cantos, Community of Madrid, Spain team.
What challenge will you be taking on?
You will lead the development team in software architecture design, embedded and low-level solution implementation, and compliance with low-level requirements within aerospace innovation and multi-component systems projects, integrating classical algorithms and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
* Participating in technical reviews, audits, and releases.
* Defining, maintaining, and evolving the software architecture.
* Leading and coordinating the development team (technical planning, reviews, support).
* Code optimization in C/C++ and definition of best practices.
* Implementation of LLR requirements and CI/CD cycle control.
* Reviewing unit testing, integration, and code coverage.
* Collaborating with QA/OPS teams on validations and integrations.
* Ensuring quality, performance, and traceability in a multi-stakeholder environment.
What do we need in our team?
For this role, we are looking for Computer Engineers specialized in software development with C++ and experienced in code optimization and design patterns.
* At least 4 years of experience in:
o Design of embedded software architectures and critical systems.
o Code optimization and design patterns (singleton, factory, observer).
o C/C++ programming (high proficiency) and Python (scripting, testing, and automation).
o Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
o Testing frameworks (GoogleTest, CppUTest, PyTest).
o Docker.
o Traceability tools (Jira, DOORS).
o Agile / SAFe frameworks.
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with ONNX, TensorRT, PyTorch or TinyML, as well as software quality standards (DO-178C, ISO 26262), will be considered a plus.
