As the Admissions & Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the school’s vision to prospective families, stakeholders, and the wider community. You will be responsible for overseeing admissions, marketing, and communications, ensuring that RWIS is positioned as a leading choice for future-focused, inquiry-based education in the region.
In this role, you will manage the strategic development and implementation of external communications, the school’s digital presence, marketing and advertising efforts, admissions processes, and community engagement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Business and Operations Manager and the Head of School, your work will be instrumental in enhancing RWIS’s reputation and building meaningful connections within and beyond the school community.
Organize and lead school tours, open days, and orientation events.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions data using Veracross and provide regular reports to the HOS.
Marketing & Communications:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy to promote The RWIS Way! both locally and internationally.
Manage the school’s digital presence, including website updates, social media platforms, and digital advertising campaigns.
Act as the “brand guardian” to ensure all materials align with RWIS’s ethos, values, brandbook and communications policy.
Oversee the creation and review of promotional content such as newsletters, prospectuses, and event materials.
Actively engage with the local and international media, business, NGO and diplomatic community to position RWIS as their school of choice.
Oversee the activities of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and act as a liaison between parents and the school.
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to align with the school’s broader strategic objectives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Measurable increase in engagement across digital platforms (e.g., website traffic, social media reach).
Positive feedback from new families on the admissions process and existing families on school communications.
Successful execution of community events and marketing campaigns.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience in admissions, marketing, or community relations, ideally within an international school setting.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
Experience as an international school educator will also be an advantage.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with marketing and AI tools is highly desirable.
Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, German, Swedish) are a strong asset.
