Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or related field.
- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry-standard business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
- Exceptional SQL skills, ETL jobs, and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
- Fluent in at least one scripting language for data wrangling.
- Proven track record of effectively communicating analytical outcomes to both business and technical teams.
Job summary
The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding customer behavior across various content areas, providing reporting, analyzing data, and explaining insights to stakeholders. You will analyze data in Alexa's data lake and contribute to designing paths for local teams to meet quality and product goals.
Key job responsibilities
* Define requirements for reporting, customer behavior, and technical performance analysis.
* Identify opportunities to improve metrics and create reports for senior stakeholders.
* Design, develop, and maintain metrics, reports, dashboards, etc.
* Automate processes to collect and manage usage data from multiple sources.
* Collaborate with market research teams to analyze customer and competitive data.
* Derive insights from customer feedback and usage data for product development guidance.
Qualifications include a graduate degree in a quantitative field, technical and business skills, proficiency in European languages, relevant work experience, strong communication skills, and experience with statistical modeling, data visualization, and AWS technologies.
