We are currently looking for aManco Accountant
to join the Accounting function of an important international client within the real estate sector
full‐time position based in Valencia
working in a highly international environment and supporting Management Companies (Mancos) across Europe.
For this process, we kindly ask candidates to share their hourly or daily rate rather than fixed salary expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate accounting for all transactions based on agreements, invoices, bank statements and tax assessments.
Support month‐end, quarter‐end and year‐end close processes.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations across the full balance sheet.
Conduct impairment analysis and going concern assessments.
Prepare management and ad‐hoc reporting, including statutory financial statements.
Ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements (e.g. VAT filings, annual tax returns, Central Bank reporting, Office of Statistics).
Ensure intragroup service agreements (recharges) are executed accurately and on time, and that recharged costs are properly reconciled.
Reconcile intercompany and related‐party balances.
Liaise with legal, compliance, treasury and tax teams to ensure accurate and up‐to‐date information.
Payroll bookkeeping support.
RequirementsMinimum
4–5 years of experience in accounting.
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
Fluent English both written and spoken.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
Previous involvement in company audits.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands‐on attitude.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Experience in real estate is a plus.
