Internal Media Buyer – Data Analytics
Full‐time, remote. Reports to VP, Analytics.
Job Summary
Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat), search engines (Google Ads, Bing), and programmatic DSP networks. Maximize ROAS and meet portfolio objectives.
Responsibilities
Set up, monitor, and optimize paid ad campaigns on multiple platforms.
Allocate and manage ad spend to stay within budget and achieve objectives.
Define and target audiences based on demographics, interests, and behaviors; create custom audiences using internal data.
Analyze campaign data to understand performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Adjust targeting, bidding strategies, and ad creatives to improve results and ROI; run A/B (multi‐variate) tests to evaluate creative and targeting options.
Prepare and deliver performance reports; update internal databases and BI systems (Looker Studio); track key metrics.
Identify and troubleshoot issues that block campaign growth or performance.
Participate in meetings with management and summarize/explain marketing performance and justify budget allocation.
Required Skills & Abilities
Analytical skills – analyze data and use insights to inform action plans.
Digital marketing knowledge – understand principles and best practices, budget allocation, and optimization.
Platform proficiency – create, manage, and optimize campaigns on individual platform Ads Managers; knowledge of platform‐specific technical aspects.
Organization – manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong prioritization.
Communication – verbal and written skills for reporting and teamwork.
Adaptability – learn and stay up‐to‐date with the fast‐changing digital media landscape; experiment and scale new concepts.
Attention to detail – high accuracy in managing marketing activities and related data.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with direct‐to‐consumer (DTC) marketing or a specific industry background.
Channel‐specific certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint).
SQL and Python knowledge are significant pluses.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.) or in Marketing‐related field.
2+ years media buying experience, including Facebook Ads.
Familiarity with data/ databases, BI systems, KPIs, and ability to analyze campaign performance data, summarize, and present.
