SLS Parts Coordinator EUAM, Iberica

The preferred location for this position is Porriño/Vigo area in Spain. We offer a possibility of hybrid remote work.
What you will be doing
As a SLS Parts Coordinator EUAM, Iberica your main responsibility will be providing technical and administrative support to the sales team, assisting with the preparation of sales proposals and documentation while ensuring accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries and proposal requests.
In this role your work will include end-to-end customer service, including creating quotes, orders and active follow-up of deliveries. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of dynamic sales team with diverse expertise.
As SLS Parts Coordinator EUAM, Iberica your work will focus on these responsibilities:
1. Act as contact for spare parts quotations, orders, deliveries and non – conformities for SLS
2. Act as a link between customer and SLS Sites (factories) in the spare parts delivery process
3. Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures and guidelines, and local requirements
4. Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
5. Ensure quality of spare parts sales documents
6. Ensure correct customer master data and handling instructions are used when processing quotations and orders
7. Actively follow up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to SLS sales teams
8. Actively follow-up the order book
9. Liaise with Sales about the content and terms of the offerings
10. Follow up with supply chain of parts deliveries according to agreed process
11. Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs
12. Use internal network within the expertise to escalate issues that may arise within the expertise
To be successful in this role, we expect you to:
13. Understand the customers' business
14. Understand the corporate vision
15. Understand Wärtsilä parts order processes
16. Identify needs and problems
17. Written and spoken language skills on English
18. Native in Spanish;
French will be considered an advantage
19. Have a good knowledge of SAP will be considered as an advantage
20. Knowledge of Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions portfolio will be considered as an advantage
In this role, some travel might be required to support the local sales manager.
