Position
Aviation Sales Manager – Madrid – AVIAREPS Spain. This is a hybrid position based in our Madrid office.
Responsibilities
Build and lead a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve revenue growth.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and profitability.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the aviation and travel industry.
Drive business development across tour operators, travel agencies, online distribution, and corporate accounts.
Acquire new clients while managing and developing existing accounts.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, customer feedback, and market opportunities in the Spanish market to support strategic business decisions.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, reports, and commercial presentations for clients and management.
Monitor contracts, fare distribution, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Organise and participate in trade fairs, events, seminars, roadshows, and product training sessions.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation sales.
Strong knowledge of the aviation industry, with an established network of contacts within the Spanish B2B travel trade and corporate travel segment.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a multi‐segment account portfolio and lead account teams when required.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve business performance.
Ability to prioritise workload and focus on initiatives with the highest business impact.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Knowledge of Amadeus is considered an advantage.
Native Spanish speaker with a high level of written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel as required.
