Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Development and Operations professional for Digital Manufacturing and MRO in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. The role will join Digital for AirPower and act as the focal point for Solution Architecture and DevOps for the TDBOA Manufacturing & MRO team in Getafe.
Responsibilities
Integrate IT system components (hardware, software, services) in line with Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
Collaborate with architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver high‑quality solutions using cutting‑edge technologies.
Secure integration across applications, systems, and platforms to meet business objectives.
Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle: research, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
Design and support the technical architecture of new solutions according to functional design specifications.
Own end‑to‑end accountability for the Digital AIRPOWER app in partnership with the Product Manager.
Monitor and track system performance against SLAs, managing incidents, problems, changes, configuration, and events.
Ensure provisioning of new software packages and upgrades.
Optimize, maintain reliability, efficiency, and availability of digital solutions following best practices, rules, and policies.
Translate business needs into digital requirements and identify opportunities for technology‑enabled improvement.
Contribute to chargeback definition models for IT products, applications, or services.
Understand Air Power business processes and translate them into functional requirements.
Develop, assemble, and maintain source code repositories for product needs.
Adhere to standards and structure of the given solution environment.
Design specification development in accordance with architectural blueprints.
Perform research, evaluation, and development of new tools to enhance product development efficiency.
Deploy, test, and integrate scalable, maintainable, and monitored systems and services.
Assist in developing product user manuals if required.
Coordinate functional and technical integration across legacy and new systems.
Define test strategy, scripts, scenarios, and monitor test execution.
Align legacy applications, databases, web interfaces, and hardware logic to meet emerging enterprise requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Engineering degree or related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in digital service and development.
Knowledge of export control basics.
.NET solution knowledge.
Component integration experience.
Solution deployment expertise.
Coding and development skills.
IT architecture and infrastructure design knowledge.
ERP/SAP SP1 knowledge is an asset.
Project management experience is valuable.
High adaptability to new topics and business areas within a network model.
Experience in Manufacturing/MRO with understanding of main production processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to propose innovative ideas.
Advanced English competence and native Spanish.
