Position within the Propulsion Technologies Group, CASE Department of BSC, focusing on large‑eddy simulations (LES) of combustion and soot prediction in aero engines.

Key Responsibilities
* Apply and develop the Conditional Moment Closure (CMC) and Discrete Sectional Method (DSM) combustion models within the in‑house code Alya.
* Analyze flame instabilities using advanced techniques such as the Flame Transfer Function (FTF).
* Generate tools and codes related to the LES simulations and soot predictions.
Requirements
* Education: MSc Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering with background in turbulence and combustion.
* Essential Knowledge and Experience: General knowledge of fluid mechanics, LES, numerical methods, combustion chemistry.
* Additional Knowledge: Computational skills and parallel programming for HPC; fluency in English (required) and Spanish (highly valuable).
* Competences: Ability to work independently and in a team; proactive orientation.
