We are hiring a Junior Project Manager.
Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers ensure project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.
The role involves managing complex software projects, maintaining stakeholder engagement, and supporting project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include risk management, customer focus, conducting status meetings, and supporting third-party deliverables. Advocating Canonical's technologies to customers is also key.
What we are looking for in you
* Strong academic record in science, software engineering, or IT, with excellent communication skills in English.
* Solution-oriented mindset, professional approach, and effective negotiation skills.
* Leadership experience from school or university.
* Degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative narrative.
* Confidence to communicate openly, share ideas, and provide feedback.
* Proven ability to go above expectations and achieve results.
* Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects.
* Strong work ethic, confidence, and ability to collaborate with motivated teams.
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

* Self-motivation, result-orientation, and willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
