In this role you lead the Systems Engineering activities for Mission Systems, delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions for Airbus derivatives and other platforms. You translate customer requirements into architectures and concepts of operations, evaluating new technologies and guiding R&D initiatives. You oversee integration of mission sensors and systems across airborne and ground segments, and support testing, certification, and in-service life-cycle activities. You will work with cross-functional teams in international environments to shape mission capability across ISR, maritime patrol, and combat-related missions, contributing to airworthiness and continuous improvements.

• Analyze customer requirements and transform them into designs, architectures and concepts of operations
• Assess innovative technologies and architectures with cost-benefit analyses
• Specify, integrate, qualify, certify and ensure airworthiness of Mission Systems for various missions
• Integrate mission sensors, equipment and systems for airborne and ground segments at hardware and functional levels
• Specify and support laboratory, ground and flight tests for development, certification and V&V
• Provide Systems Engineering support across the full lifecycle from development to in-service
• Support Services and Commercial campaigns related to Mission Systems
Responsabilidades
• Systems Engineering background / experience
• V&V process knowledge
• Requirements management tools knowledge
• Functional analysis and Model Based Systems Engineering knowledge
• xpzdshu At least 5 years of experience in related fields
• Systems architectures transversal/analytical thinking
• Networks, Computing, Software, Cybersecurity knowledge
• General Mission Systems / Avionics knowledge (displays, controls, computers, sensors, data buses/protocols)
• General Airworthiness and Certification process knowledge
• Willingness to interact in international environments with diverse profiles
• Ability to move from high-level system view to detailed subsystem implementation
• Fluent English and Spanish (oral, written)
