Overview
Revlon, a leading multinational cosmetics company, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the R&D team in Barcelona, reporting to the Global Manager of Analytical Services. This is a temporary position lasting 9 months and requiring full on-site presence. The role focuses on executing analytical testing for raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with established specifications and methods, while supporting multiple R&D projects in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
* Perform routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials and finished products following established methods and specifications
* Execute analytical techniques, including chromatography and wet chemistry, ensuring accurate data generation and interpretation
* Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams across multiple projects
* Supervise, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
* Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of laboratory equipment and workspace
* Train and support junior team members when required
Qualifications
* Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field (Higher Vocational Training also considered with strong experience)
* Around 3 years of experience as an analytical chemist in an industrial environment, such as cosmetics, chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals
* Hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (LC / GC), ideally with OpenLab software
* Experience in potentiometric titrations and general wet chemistry techniques
* Advanced level of English and Spanish
* Strong Excel and general Office skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
* Team-oriented profile with strong communication skills
