JOB DESCRIPTION
The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is seeking an Innovation Project Manager to join the Innovation Unit at IGTP, with the aim of supporting the identification, development, and implementation of innovative projects in the healthcare field. The selected candidate will be involved in the end-to-end management of R&D&I projects, from idea generation to transfer and/or implementation, working closely with researchers, clinicians and external partners. The role includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, preparing and monitoring funding proposals, and supporting technology valorization and transfer activities. This position is key to fostering a culture of innovation within the institute and contributing to the real-world impact of research in the healthcare system.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
* University degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry) or other relevant disciplines.
* Candidates with alternative academic backgrounds will also be considered if supported by relevant experience or demonstrated knowledge in the required areas.
* Experience in one or more of the following areas will be considered an asset: technology transfer, innovation management, business development, technology commercialization and/or contract negotiation.
* Excellent command of Catalan, Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
* Proficiency in standard office software and document management tools.
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive attitude, flexibility, autonomy, and a high sense of responsibility.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identifying, supporting, and managing innovation and R&D&I projects within the institute, from early-stage ideas to implementation and/or transfer.
* Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, clinicians, and external partners, ensuring effective communication and project execution.
* Supporting the preparation, submission, and follow-up of national and international funding proposals.
* Contributing to the valorization of research results, including the assessment of technologies, identification of potential applications, and support for their transfer to industry or clinical practice.
* Monitoring project progress, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with funding and institutional requirements.
* Facilitating collaborations with industry and other external stakeholders, contributing to the development of strategic partnerships.
* Supporting the promotion of innovation culture within the institute through participation in internal initiatives, programs, and events.
* Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation related to project activities and outcomes.
