**FUNCTIONS**:
Mission:
Together with the new General Manager increase the Sales Volume in the respective geographic area (either North of Spain: Basque Country, Navarra, Castilla Leon, Aragon OR Portugal, Galicia). The Territory Sales Manager & Key Account Manager will be assigned an existing portfolio of clients. A strong focus lies also on hunting new clients.
**Tasks**:
- Being Responsible for Sales in the assigned territory
- Expanding relationship with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions to meet the Customers´ expectations
- Business Development and gaining new clients.
- Build strong relationships with new and strategic customers
- Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Focus on Sales efforts by studying and monitoring the concurrence, gathering pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and visiting techniques
- Submit orders with the support of the technical department
- Keep Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as regular call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Using CRM Software
- Recommend updates and improvements in product or suppliers, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to Management, always with the strong support of the technical department
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional fairs
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
- Assist and organise the participation in fairs
**Requirements**:
- Ideally you hold a degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- Around 5 years of experience in Sales and Key Account Management or similar
- Preferably previous experience in the automotive industry
- Possession of a ‘hunter attitude’ with an analytical mind
- Capacity to build rapport with key clients and to handle multiple client accounts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
- Ability in problem-solving, leadership and negotiation
- Highly goal-oriented, assertive and a hands-on problem solver
- Native in Spanish and high level of English (Other languages such as German, Portuguese or Basque are welcome)
- Willing to travel, mainly within the assigned territory, occasionally to Barcelona or Germany.
