iiPay offers a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Spanish Payroll Operations Manager to work closely with numerous clients daily, delivering professional, high-quality payroll services to support our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.
Role Overview
Our motivated and engaged team members are central to our success! This role involves collaborating with other teams to effectively service our entire client portfolio. You will work closely with our European Service Centre Director to deliver projects, meet company objectives, implement consistent processes, and advance business strategies.
Requirements: Systems & Analytics
Strong IT solutions experience, advanced Excel skills, and high analytical ability to suggest improvements to current systems and processes.
Scheduling and Time Management
Manage and deliver client payrolls according to schedule, communicate directly with clients and third parties to meet or exceed deadlines, and escalate issues as needed to meet service level agreements and client expectations.
Operational Excellence
Lead projects to enhance systems, processes, and payroll delivery, aiming to maximize efficiency and accuracy while ensuring high client satisfaction.
Communication
Maintain clear and comprehensive communication with clients, partners, management, implementation teams, and account managers.
Country Legislation Knowledge
Serve as the primary operations contact for Spain, maintaining detailed knowledge of statutory processes to ensure excellent customer service and compliance. Collaborate with the implementation team for onboarding new payrolls and clients.
Escalation and Problem Resolution
Own and manage client escalations, seek advice when necessary, and work with the payroll provider management team to improve processes and outcomes.
What Are We Looking For?
* At least 5+ years of experience managing multiple payroll transactions in a complex environment, including managing large teams.
* Over 3 years of successful leadership in Spanish payroll services.
* Proven experience in implementing and stabilizing new Spanish payrolls.
* Assertive, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of pension schemes, salary sacrifice schemes, and restricted stock units.
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Track record of delivering Spanish payrolls within SLAs, working with various payroll organizations.
* Experience working with international clients of all sizes, including FTSE and Fortune 500 companies, demonstrating trust and clarity in communication.
* Motivated, driven, with excellent communication skills and a history of high customer satisfaction.
* Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
