Position Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for House Repair Claims will drive the growth of the company's house repair claims services. The role requires a strategic, proactive individual to develop relationships with clients, insurance providers, contractors, and other stakeholders. The BDM will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure offerings align with market needs while achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities. Develop strategies to expand the client base.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property management firms. Serve as the main contact for key clients.
* Business Development: Network with industry professionals, attend events, leverage online platforms, and prepare proposals for potential clients.
* Sales & Revenue Generation: Manage sales pipeline, client accounts, close deals, and negotiate contracts to meet targets.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with operations and repair teams to ensure timely service delivery and oversee project management from initiation to completion.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams for seamless service delivery, providing feedback to improve offerings.
* Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and update management on progress and trends.

* Manage a portfolio of Key Accounts.
* Achieve sales targets by developing new customers.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and explore upsell opportunities.
* Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales activities.
* Meet KPIs and activity targets.
* Build relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Monitor market trends and competitors.
* Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads.
* Close new business deals and manage existing client relationships.

Ideal Profile Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in insurance, construction, or house repair industries.
* Knowledge of home repair claims, insurance standards, and claims management systems is a plus.
* Skills include strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills, proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office, and market analysis capabilities.
