We are currently seeking a **dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teacher** to support our **Year 5** class. The role is adecuado for a teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the **British curriculum**.
- Support students in achieving their learning goals through **differentiated instruction and classroom management**.
- Maintain a positive classroom culture that fosters collaboration, curiosity, and independence.
- Assess and provide feedback on students’ progress, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Work collaboratively with the **Year 5 team and wider school staff** to uphold high academic and behavioural standards.
- Follow school policies and procedures, ensuring student well-being and safeguarding at all times.
**Requirements**:
- ** Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification**.
- Experience teaching in a **Key Stage 2 (KS2) classroom**, preferably in Year 5.
- Strong classroom management skills with a **student-centered approach**.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for inclusive education and experience supporting diverse learning needs.
**Desirable**:
- Experience working in an **international school setting**.
- Familiarity with **Oxford Standardized Assessments and Green Stone’s assessment policies**.
- Understanding of **ESL strategies** to support language learners.
