La Universidad de Navarra (UNAV) es una universidad privada sin ánimo de lucro fundada en 1952 con sede en Pamplona, España. Job Description
The University of Navarra (UNAV) is a non-profit private university founded in 1952 based in Pamplona, Spain. It confers 37 official degrees (14 are double degree) and administers 43 master’s programs, including 19 doctoral programs, through 16 faculties and Schools, 2 superior colleges, the IESE Business School and its 5 comprehensive Research Centres: CCUN (Cancer Centre Clínica Universidad de Navarra), BIOMA (Biodiversity and Environment Institute) and DATAI (Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence), ICN (INSTITUTE FOR CULTURE AND SOCIEDY) and CIN (Centre for Nutrition Research).
UNAV has more than 13.500 students in 7 campuses: Pamplona, San Sebastian, Madrid, Barcelona, New York, Munich and Saö Paulo with a wide network of international universities and research centres.
UNAV has been awarded the HR Excellence in Research quality seal (HRS4R) that guarantees the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

The aim is to facilitate the incorporation of established and talented researchers of recognised international standing who have recently been active abroad, supporting their career and stimulating the creation and consolidation of first-class research teams.
Preferred research areas: Cancer, Nutrition, Biodiversity (ecology, teledetección and. air quality), Environment, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Culture, Society, Economy, business management, architecture.
Requirements
* Be considered an established researcher (R4)
* Doctorate obtained at least 7 years ago
* Professional relationship with a foreign research institution for at least 5 of the last 7 years.
* Having led a significant number of research projects as Principal Investigator in competitive calls for proposals.
* Being the Principal Investigator of an active European Research Council (ERC) project.
* Be in the top 10% of the world’s most outstanding researchers in your speciality or have made a very important high-impact contribution to your speciality during the course of your career.
* Having made highly relevant and impactful contributions to their area of specialization throughout their career.
* Researchers of any nationality
Consolidated Researcher Criteria
Having served as Principal Investigator (PI) for a significant number of research projects funded through competitive calls; being the principal investigator of an active European Research Council (ERC) project; having made, throughout their career, highly relevant and impactful contributions within their area of specialization.
Eligible Activities
* The implementation of an independent R&D&I project led by the PI of the funded action.
* The employment of the PI of the funded action. Likewise, the following activity shall be eligible for funding, although it is not mandatory for the implementation of the actions.
* The adaptation of facilities, laboratory refurbishment and similar activities necessary for the initiation or consolidation of the research line of the PI of the funded action.
The funded actions may receive up to €1,000,000.00.
This amount may be increased in cases where the principal investigators have been affiliated with research organisations located in the United States of America for a specified period.
