Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Regional Sales Manager North West Europe / Iberia to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will maximize the exposure of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) franchised hotels of all brands within their territory, focusing on developing sales opportunities, customer account management, and driving contribution to the hotels within the region(s) they are responsible for.
The region includes North West Europe / Iberia, with a focus on Iberia and the UK. The role involves managing and developing existing National and Regional Accounts and developing new business across all market segments to increase contribution to a set of hotels.
This position requires a proactive sales approach, partnering with clients and travel intermediaries to deliver incremental revenue and increased market share for the hotels, franchise partners, and WHR.
The manager will work towards or exceed annual revenue goals by managing their client portfolio through:
* Developing and implementing sales plans for top clients.
* Negotiating and contracting rates for key clients across all segments within the designated region.
* Managing group leads and RFP solicitations via Wyndham Sales Systems.
* Achieving targets based on revenue, room nights, RFP acceptances, and other metrics.
* Maintaining an average of 25+ sales appointments or calls per month.
Responsibilities
Sales Account Management & New Business Development : Identify and secure new accounts, build pipeline plans with revenue and room night targets across segments such as corporate transient, MICE, leisure groups, and FIT.
Develop strategic partnerships with key leisure tour operators, corporate clients, travel agencies, and MICE companies.
Devise strategies to maximize hotel revenue and contribute to EMEA targets.
Franchisee Relations : Collaborate with franchise and management partners, visit hotels, and educate on WHR tools.
Internal Relations & Systems : Work with all WHR units, support colleagues, and utilize business tools to meet goals.
Industry Participation : Represent WHR at industry events, participate in associations.
Self-Development : Continuously enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
Complexity
* Drive significant revenue into the WHR portfolio within an agreed territory.
* Manage accounts independently within their territory.
* Work mainly remotely, with minimal supervision.
Scope / Financial Responsibility
Manage a portfolio of accounts, with an annual revenue goal and participation in incentive plans. Responsible for managing expenses and submitting monthly expense reports.

* Multi-segment knowledge is preferred.
* Local driving license preferred.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages like Spanish are advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systems.
