Overview
RF Assembly and Test Engineer — Relocation to Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a skilled Assembly, Test & Integration Engineer with solid experience in RF and electronic systems to join our technical team. The idóneo candidate will play a key role in assembling, validating, and integrating high-performance RF products and related subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly documentation to carry out mechanical, cable, and PCB-level assembly or repair work.
- Assemble mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical systems, modules, and components following engineering procedures and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures to build and fit components accurately.
- Execute wiring, soldering, and harnessing tasks, including termination, cable routing, and installation of passive and active components such as resistors, capacitors, and relays.
- Conduct inspections and basic testing to confirm product quality and compliance with design specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and rework activities when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, tools, and equipment.
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous learning within the assembly team.
Testing & Integration
- Carry out complete system-level testing, verification, and integration of RF products.
- Design, assemble, and maintain test setups, fixtures, and jigs.
- Develop and document test procedures and validation methods to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Execute quality checks and provide technical feedback on test outcomes.
- Support defect tracking, test case development, and issue resolution.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to testing methodologies and efficiency improvements.
- Design and deploy automation tools to streamline test processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (specialization in telecommunications or RF systems preferred).
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in RF and mechanical assembly within manufacturing or R&D; environments.
- At least 3 years of experience in hardware failure diagnostics and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of RF principles and proficiency with measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and attenuators.
- Working knowledge of telecommunications and networking hardware.
- Experience with quality control procedures ; background in telecom or networking device testing is a plus.
- Proficient in PCB soldering, cable and harness fabrication, and electronic rework.
- Certification in IPC 7711/7721, IPC-A-610, or IPC J-STD-001 preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mechanical and electrical systems using precision tools and diagnostic instruments.
- Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or military electronics manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
