We are looking for a Lead Backend Developer who wants less bureaucracy and more code; someone who enjoys leading from the technical trenches and mentoring a junior team during this critical transition.
The Challenge: From Architecture to Cloud Deployment
You will join a multidisciplinary team in an exciting phase: Stage 1 of the migration to Cloud environments. Your focus will be 100% on new developments and ensuring the stability of the recently implemented architecture.
Your main responsibilities:
- Hands-on Development: You will be responsible for "coding" on a daily basis, ensuring the robustness and scalability of our backend solutions.
- Technical Mentorship: You will act as a reference, guiding junior profiles and fostering engineering best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Testing).
- Cloud Ownership: You will actively participate in the AWS migration, taking responsibility for the full life cycle (from design to the maintenance of the new ecosystem).
- Agile Collaboration: We will work with Scrum/Kanban methodologies to constantly deliver real value to the business.
What You Need to Shine ✨
- Backend Mastery: Solid and advanced experience in Kotlin (our primary language) or Java.
- Cloud Native: Practical experience in AWS environments (knowledge of Azure or GCP is also valued).
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform to define and scale our systems.
- Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Architecture: Ability to design distributed, efficient, and maintainable systems.
- Excellent English: Ability to communicate fluently in an international environment.
- Technical Leadership: You are proactive in detecting bottlenecks and enjoy sharing knowledge.
- Effective Communication: Ability to explain complex technical decisions to the team and the PO in a simple way.
