Project Contract Manager – Madrid We're looking for a full‐time Project Contract Manager in Madrid to apply your contract management expertise in a cutting‐edge field and work alongside young and proactive teammates.
Responsibilities Analyze contracts and develop and implement contract and claim management strategies, adopting a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis.
Monitor projects toward contract obligations and support monitoring of project schedules to achieve contractual milestones.
Issue timely contractual notices and monitor correspondence by analyzing incoming and outgoing communications with third parties.
Monitor, record, and notify any third party regarding claims/counterclaims; prepare and manage all elements and supporting documentation for claims and counterclaims negotiations.
Report on contract management and claims activities to the project, Legal and Contract Management teams.
Report contract‐management KPIs as per reporting deadlines.
Provide training on contract/claim management to key project stakeholders (project management, finance, engineering, sourcing).
Provide a reliable and understandable contractual and commercial analysis of the project on demand.
Qualifications Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics or business sciences.
2–3 years of contract/claim management experience (preferred) or project management experience in the industrial sector; experience in railway projects is a plus.
Fluency in Spanish (mandatory) and English (mandatory).
