Role Overview
The Content Editor is a key position within the Programming & Content Department at Paramount Pictures, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple television channels. This includes maintaining content standards and implementing schedules within strict timelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive channel growth through strategic content decisions based on performance data, including developing stunts and liaising with Marketing on key titles.
* Publish schedules for linear and non-linear programming on time, ensuring they meet editorial guidelines and drive performance.
* Assist the team in content selection and evaluation of available content.
* Evaluate and organize content inventory (shows, episodes, etc.) within our Content Management System.
* Maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date documentation about channels and programming highlights.
Requirements
* 1-3 years of experience in television or TV streaming platforms as a programme scheduler/editor across multiple genres.
* Proficiency in streaming data/viewing data analytics and ability to inform editorial decision-making.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills to balance multiple concurrent tasks.
* A hands-on approach and willingness to try new things.
* A co-operative, communicative, and team-oriented work style.
* Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Spanish.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite required.
* Experience working with Content Management systems preferred.
* A keen interest and enthusiasm for working in the fast-paced media industry.
* A passion for content and entertainment, particularly TV, movies, online content, and streaming.
