The role:
The Interaction Designer is a key member of the Verisure Design Group, reporting to the Group Studio Manager. The role will be based at our R&D centre in Madrid, Spain with some European travel required. The position of Interaction Designer is fundamental in delivering world class interaction design across the Verisure digital and physical product portfolio. You will be instrumental in evolving our customer touch-points, as technology, behaviours and design patterns evolve and change. As an Interaction Designer at Verisure you will be responsible for the creation, development, refinement, and documentation of innovative and compelling interaction design solutions that are in line with the design objectives and goals of Verisure. The position will work on both tactical projects and programs as well as more strategic and explorative workstreams. The Interaction Designer will be:

a person who stands up for customers and makes sure that their voice is heard and understood throughout the process. Main Responsibilities Main responsibilities will include supporting the business in all aspects of Interaction Design. Key tasks include but are not limited to:
Contributing to the shaping of new product & service experiences from early concept explorations to detailed design solutions across our digital portfolio including Web, App and Proprietary interfaces. Define the overall experience structure of new interaction products including user flows, wireframes and specification documents. Expertly envision and communicate concepts and ideas using appropriate design tools that illustrate all touch points across the customer experience journey from purchase and installation to daily use and maintenance. Work closely with product managers and engineers to balance technical and business requirements of the product & service being designed. Identify and drive continuous refinement of existing products and services to improve the overall user experience. Identify and use metrics to guide and structure this process. Work with other team members to uncover insights and identify opportunities, by e.G., take an active part in pre-studies, workshops, UX requirement gathering, prototyping activities etc. Iteratively prototype and test solutions using low and high-fidelity tools as required. Work with stakeholders and other team members to bring designs to life, balancing user needs, business requirements and technical constraints. Have an understanding of modern project management methodologies (e.G. agile, lean UX) Be aware of the latest digital trends and industry best practices and use this knowledge to evolve products and features when and where it is appropriate. Support the greater Global Design Team and UI Design Manager throughout a range of internal initiatives such as;
contribute to and own abigger design, document existing and new solutions, explore new skills, tools, ways of working and practices under the direction of your immediate supervisor. Be able to own and present a design to key stakeholders and motivate design decisions. Take tactical and strategic design decisions in collaboration with prime stakeholders and other lead designers. Hand over and present a design and then support the IT organisation during development and validate the implementation throughout the process. Required Qualifications Minimum qualifications 2+ years of experience working with strategic design/innovation, UX/concept design, service design, user centric design - with a focus on interaction design. A University degree (preferably BA or BS degree) in an appropriate design discipline such as Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or any other related design field. Documented experience of software design solutions that have been released to the market Familiar working with Design Systems. Preferably knowledge within the domain and importance of Accessibility. Proven experience in working with functional leaders in a medium to large corporate or consulting environment. Have a keen eye and passion for design details within UX/concept design, user centric design and innovation - with a focus on interaction design. Experience of hands-on working with software engineers and developers to turn design concepts into production products that are released to the market. Proven track record of utilising research insights to inform design decisions and directions. Fluent in English & Spanish both written and spoken. Applications must include:
