Role
Within the US Operations department, we are looking to add a new member to the Support and Maintenance team to fill the position of Support & Maintenance Project Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Support for SCADA systems and control centres for renewable energy generation assets, as well as integration of industrial control and communications systems.
* Main point of contact with customers for day-to-day projects and services.
* Evaluation of specifications with customers for new requirements.
* Support in managing suppliers and third parties involved.
* Coordination of activities with horizontal teams.
* Regular monitoring of the service together with the customer.
* Resolution of 3rd level incidents (functional and technical).
* Preparation of regular service reports and project documentation.
* Support for customers and users in the use of Bluence, including trips to the US to visit the customer's office.
* Training for customers and users, as well as identifying and evaluating new requirements.
Your skills and experience
* Preferably Energy Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or CFGS (Higher Technical Certificate) in related fields.
* English: High (B2-C1).
* Knowledge of renewable energy installations, especially PV and wind power.
* Basic knowledge of networks and database management.
* Skills in troubleshooting systems.
* Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (IEC-104, DNP3, OPC and Modbus) desirable.
* Strong customer focus and good communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills.
