Position Overview / Summary
Field Service Engineer for DR and CR equipment. This position performs technical service and support day‐to‐day business on Agfa and third‐party products and systems to customers. The employee will be based from home and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment. The individual must be customer focused at all times, be prepared to work alone and as part of a team, be able to interact well with colleagues, customers and third‐party trades in a professional and tactful manner, and present a positive image of the Company.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Install and modify Agfa and third‐party products (DR and CR)
Troubleshoot Agfa and third‐party products, repair and replace on site and remotely
Assist R&D and HQ in problem solving and risk analysis
Train the customers
Escalate when necessary problems to second and third tier support
Document service incidents
Manage and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on Agfa products, reporting according to our procedures
Assist internal and external customers on site and remotely with technical questions and issues
Identify upselling opportunities for Agfa Services and Products and pass them on to sales as required
Manage return of equipment and parts in a compliant and timely manner to company procedures
Who You Are (Qualifications)
Education
University degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics or related field
X‐Ray operator license (nice to have)
Experience
Leads mechanical and electrical service of devices with computing software – minimum 3 years of previous experience installing and maintaining medical devices/healthcare products, especially X‐ray/DR systems
Experience with networking and remote diagnosis software
Experience working safely with electromechanical systems
Project Management skills (nice to have)
Specific Skills
Languages: Spanish (native) and English (B2 or higher); Valencian/Catalan desirable
Proactivity, flexibility, independence, initiative, open to new challenges, customer‐relationship focus, positive mindset, energy for change
Excellent attention to detail, strong self‐motivation, clear communication, willingness to travel for business
Ability to fault‐find basic electronics to component level and strong analytical skills
Good knowledge of X‐Ray/DR and Windows 7/10
Full driving licence – willingness to travel frequently within the country and occasionally to other European countries
