Serve as a key facilitator in translating business data needs into structured, documented specifications that enable reliable data ingestion into our ecosystem. /ppbr/ppThis is an operational, execution-focused engagement. Will work under the guidance of the internal Data Factory Source Manager and bwill not be responsible for strategic prioritization, roadmap decisions, or organizational governance. /bThe primary value delivered is hands-on support in requirements documentation, requirements gathering and analysis as well as data contract drafting, allowing internal teams to scale their capacity. /ppbr/ppbWhat will your duties be? /b /pulliEngage with business stakeholders and source system owners to elicit and document data requirements for ingestion projects. /liliTranslate business needs into clear, structured data specifications including field definitions, data types, business rules, and quality expectations. /liliMaintain up-to-date requirements documentation in agreed tools and formats, ensuring traceability between business needs and technical specifications. /liliSupport workshops and working sessions with business analysts, domain experts, and data engineers to clarify and validate requirements. /liliDraft data contracts based on input from internal stakeholders, source system owners, and existing documentation templates. /liliCapture key contract attributes including source metadata, field-level specifications, SLAs, data quality rules, and compliance notes. /liliSupport the versioning and change tracking of data contracts throughout the ingestion lifecycle. /liliCoordinate with data engineers and business teams to review and refine contract drafts, ensuring alignment before approval. /liliFacilitate communication between source system owners and internal data teams during the requirements and contract definition phases. /liliTrack open items, action points, and approval statuses across active data ingestion initiatives. /liliFlag risks or blockers to the internal Source Manager for timely resolution. /liliActive project reporting and status tracking through JIRA. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbWhich are the requirements? /b /pulli3–5 years of experience in data management, business analysis, or data integration roles. /liliProven hands-on experience in requirements gathering and documentation within data or BI projects. /liliPrior experience drafting or working with data contracts, data dictionaries, or data sharing agreements is strongly preferred. /lilibBackground working in environments with multiple data sources, ETL/ELT pipelines, or data warehouse platforms. /b /liliTechnical Skills /liliSolid understanding of data architecture concepts, data modeling, and relational databases. /liliFamiliarity with data integration patterns (batch, real-time, APIs, file transfers). /liliBasic SQL proficiency for data exploration and validation. /liliExperience with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint). /li /ulpbNice to have: /b /pulliStrong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. /liliHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. /liliSelf-starter with a proactive approach to identifying gaps and following up on open items. /liliCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. /liliExperience in the healthcare industry is a plus. /liliOpen-minded and eager to investigate and adapt to new systems and technologies. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat we offer? /b /pulliLong term contract with Hays. /liliParticipate in international projects. /liliFlexible remote work model (1 office day per month).
