You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers towards a secure, compliant, and healthy identity posture across cloud and hybrid environments. This is a client-facing role combining deep technical expertise with strong consulting and communication skills, aligned with Avanade’s Security and Infrastructure practice and Microsoft Zero Trust principles.
Responsibilities
* Advise and support customers on Microsoft Entra ID capabilities, helping them modernize identity and access management.
* Design, implement, and troubleshoot authentication and authorization models, including cloud and hybrid identity scenarios.
* Lead and contribute to structured engagements such as assessments, workshops, and onboarding accelerators focused on Entra ID.
* Implement and optimize Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and risk-based policies.
* Support identity lifecycle management (Joiner / Mover / Leaver) and governance processes.
* Configure and manage Entra ID Governance, including: Access Reviews, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Periodic and self-service access reviews, Support application integrations using modern authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
* Enable and troubleshoot hybrid identity scenarios using Entra ID Connect and Entra Cloud Sync.
* Assist customers with compliance, auditing, and reporting related to identity and access.
* Collaborate with internal Avanade teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Job Qualifications
* Microsoft Entra ID & Identity and Access Management (IAM) in cloud and hybrid environments
* Access control and identity governance, including RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management
* Authentication and modern identity protocols, such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, and passwordless authentication
* Hybrid identity integration and synchronization, using Entra ID Connect, Entra Cloud Sync, and Azure AD Join
* Identity security, monitoring, and automation, including Entra ID Protection and Microsoft Graph API fundamentals
