This person will ensure compliance with legal requirements and ISO 45000 standards, promoting a strong safety culture and protecting the wellbeing of all employees.We are seeking a proactive and hands-on individual with a solid technical background, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams, external prevention services, and international stakeholders. This role will be key in driving preventive actions, ensuring operational excellence in H&S, and acting as a strategic partner to the business to foster a safe and sustainable working environment.Reporting to the Operations Director, he/she will be responsible for:
Implement and manage the Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45000) across all sites, ensuring legal compliance and continuous improvement.Develop safe work procedures and emergency protocols to minimize workplace risks and accidents.Plan and execute preventive measures to eliminate or reduce risk situations.Deliver H&S training and awareness sessions to all levels, promoting a strong safety culture.Conduct internal audits to detect deviations and assess the effectiveness of H&S measures.Monitor and review the H&S System with Management to ensure its alignment and performance.Coordinate with the External Prevention Service to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.Lead investigations of accidents/incidents and define corrective actions.Supervise the annual plan for safety training, health surveillance, and legal obligations.Supervise coordination of activities with contractors to guarantee compliance and safety.Collaborate with HR on administrative H&S tasks and reporting.Provide reporting and act as the main point of contact with the headquarters in the Netherlands, jointly developing improvement projects in the field of Health & Safety.Requirements:
University degree, preferably in Occupational Risk Prevention, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.Postgraduate studies or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety (required).Over 4 years of experience in Health & Safety roles, preferably in industrial or B2B distribution environments.Fluent English (mandatory due to regular communication with HQ).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel);
