**Job overview**:
Swans International School are looking to appoint a University and Careers Counsellor from September 2025.
The role will involve providing guidance for students from Year 9 to 13 on their possible future paths and tailoring their (I)GCSE and IB option choices to suitable university and career pathways. It will involve close liaison with the Sixth Form (IB) leadership team, as well as the Heads of Year from Year 9 upwards in organising events for students and parents in the promotion of post-school life. This will include university visits, Careers events and work experience opportunities.
They will be in charge of:
Assisting students and their parents in making the correct choice of destination
Coordinating Personal Statements and References that give students the best chance of achieving a place at their first-choice destination
Be responsible for the post-results service and clearing process during the summer break

**Requirements**:
PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education not required but would be preferred
A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check
