As a Field Service Engineer, you will work across various labs, so a strong appetite for continuous learning about new instruments, software, and consumables is essential. Your communication skills, creativity, and proactive attitude are vital for solving customer problems and delivering high-quality customer service, which will help build customer success.
Your Role
You will support our customers through onsite installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of our systems, which include hardware, software, and networking solutions from Agilent and other vendors. Your responsibilities include:
1. Installing and optimizing hardware, software, and network products at customer sites.
2. Diagnosing and resolving product performance issues.
3. Performing maintenance and repairs.
4. Advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations to optimize performance.
5. Proactively addressing potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned disruptions.
6. Delivering integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and software.
7. Training other field engineers and customers on solutions.
Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
* A degree in a science field such as chemistry or analytical chemistry.
* A Master's or PhD is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with chromatography or mass spectrometry (LC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS).
* Experience with Agilent solutions is preferred but not mandatory.
* Willingness to travel and visit customers.
* Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English.
