About the RoleNobu Hotel Madrid is preparing to open its doors, and we are looking for an exceptional Staff Accountant to be an integral part of the Finance team of this flagship luxury lifestyle property.The Staff Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, while providing support to the Cluster Director of Finance and hotel leadership team to help maximize overall value.This role primarily supports the Cluster Director of Finance in maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring effective financial controls, and developing best-practice accounting and control procedures. The Staff Accountant also plays a key role in supporting and advising the Finance team at Nobu Hotel Madrid.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial statements. Prepare monthly financial statements and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all outstanding items are investigated and resolved. Oversee all finance functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit, and Payroll. Implement and support property-level financial policies and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with all local privacy, local taxes, data protection, and confidentiality regulations. Assist in preparing and delivering financial presentations for ownership meetings. Support the Cluster Director of Finance in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts. Respond to ad hoc requests and projects assigned by the Cluster Director of Finance.
