Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead the design and development of core AI services in the Generative AI and AI Quality sector. In this role, you will not only build features but also architect systems, define technical standards, and make critical design decisions to ensure scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions.
As a key technical leader, you will guide the team by example, influence the AI roadmap, and tackle some of the most challenging problems in the AI-first space.
What You’ll Do
Architectural Leadership
1. Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of core AI services built for high availability, performance, and security.
2. Make strategic decisions on models, evaluation frameworks, and system designs, including retrieval systems, agentic workflows, and custom fine-tuning.
Technical Strategy & Best Practices
3. Define and champion LLMOps, MLOps, and DevOps practices to ensure agile, high-quality product delivery.
4. Execute the long-term AI roadmap while driving best-in-class engineering standards.
Collaboration & High-Impact Projects
5. Collaborate with research and technical partners to leverage advanced computational resources for cutting-edge AI solutions.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate research into scalable production-grade AI systems.
Mentorship & Team Development
7. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, architecture design, and technical guidance.
8. Foster a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing across the team.
About You
9. Experience: 8+ years building, deploying, and scaling complex software, with at least 4 years in Machine Learning / Deep Learning products.
10. Scale-Up Environment: Proven ability to thrive in fast-growing, high-paced organizations.
11. Technical Leadership: Demonstrated experience guiding technical strategy, mentoring teams, and influencing roadmaps.
12. Generative AI Expertise: Hands-on experience across the full LLM lifecycle, including fine-tuning, RAG, agentic systems, and production-grade evaluation.
13. Systems Design: Expertise designing and scaling production-grade AI/ML systems with Python and deep learning frameworks.
14. MLOps / LLMOps: Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining robust AI solutions at scale.
15. Tech Stack Knowledge: Familiarity with LLM orchestration, vector databases, knowledge graphs, observability, and evaluation frameworks.
16. Communication: Strong ability to articulate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
17. Education & Languages: Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or related field (PhD preferred). Fluent in English and Spanish.
