This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional who is eager to develop a career in technical underwriting. /ppYou will work closely with senior underwriters and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored insurance solutions, combining technical understanding of risks with commercial awareness. /ppbr/ppbRole responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliContributing to the underwriting process for Construction Engineering risks, including reviewing submissions and assisting in risk assessment and pricing. /liliConducting preliminary analysis of technical documentation, project information and risk exposures. /liliParticipating in the preparation of insurance proposals, as well as various documents, marketing materials, and sales presentations. /liliAssisting in the preparation of underwriting files, quotes and policy documentation. /liliSupporting senior underwriters in day-to-day underwriting activities and portfolio management. /liliMaintaining an up to date portfolio database. /liliMonitoring and maintaining accurate records of underwriting data and documentation in internal systems. /liliAssisting with renewal processes and ensuring timely follow-up of outstanding information. /liliCollaborating with brokers and internal teams to ensure efficient handling of submissions and queries. /liliSupporting business development activities, including preparation of presentations and marketing materials. /liliStaying informed about market trends, industry developments and emerging risks within the construction and engineering sector. /liliEnsuring compliance with internal underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. /li /ulpbr/ppbKey requirements /b /ppbr/pulliRecent graduate with technical or university education in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field. /liliProfessional experience in a construction and/or engineering company, or in an EC primary insurer (underwriting/loss control engineering/claims), would be a plus, but not essential. /liliBasic understanding of Construction Engineering risks. /liliCommercial mindset and interest in developing client and broker relationships. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI) with the ability to quickly learn internal systems. /liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude. /liliOrganizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. /liliFluency in Spanish and English. /li /ulpbr/ppbAbout DUAL /b /ppbr/ppEstablished in 1998, DUAL is a leading global MGA with more than 1,500 employees and total premium revenues of USD 3.5 billion.
