Position focus :
* Directs and has overall oversight responsibility for plant continuous improvement efforts, including but not limited to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Cost Reduction.
* Leads the plant's cost reduction and profit improvement efforts and implements plans to achieve these goals.
* Achieve best-in-class operational performance in terms of efficiency, startup performance and employee engagement.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement at all levels.
Responsibilities :
* Achieve the overall planned performance of the plant.
* Drive, achieve, support and foster a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizens.
* Engage all levels of the plant in raising the bar for operational excellence.
* Maintain and update plant best practices.
* Support kaizen improvements in safety, ergonomics and environment.
* Support / mentor / coach the use, application and understanding of LSS tools at various levels within the plant.
* Promote synergies between the plant and Lear Europe. Support of the central team in specific projects.
* Promote Lean Six Sigma thinking in the organization.
* Identify players who want to be part of the CI community.
* Responsible for implementing company policies and procedures within functional area of expertise.
Requirements :
* 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment.
