Senior Sales / Business Development – HPC, AI & Data Center Infrastructure (Founding Role)

We’re hiring our first dedicated sales hire to build our direct go-to-market from early stage revenues to global scale.
EAR is looking for people who share our values and beliefs: energy aware and efficient HPC/AI Data Centers. We help Data Centers achieve more performance per watt! Our innovative software helps serve that cause.
Our startup, EAR - Energy Aware Solutions, develops software that tackles one of the biggest bottlenecks in AI and high-performance computing: energy efficiency.
Our solution is already deployed in production across leading European data centers (LRZ, BSC, SURF, EDF, European Space Agency…), helping reduce energy consumption of HPC and AI workloads by up to 50%.
Why this role matters:
Until now, our growth has been driven through: HPC procurements (RFPs), OEM partnerships (world leaders)
We are now building our direct enterprise sales channel:
This is a founding sales role with full ownership and direct impact on company growth.
We are also preparing our first equity fundraising round this year.
Responsibilities:
* Build pipeline (outbound + network)
* Drive enterprise sales cycles with: HPC centers, AI infrastructure teams, Data center operators, Enterprises deploying large-scale compute.
* Sell a deep technical software solution to expert buyers (infra, ops, CTO-level)
* Close complex B2B deals (€50K+ ACV) and increase deal size
* Help define our go-to-market strategy (ICP, messaging, segmentation...)
* Develop new markets, especially AI service providers and enterprise AI
Profile
* 5–10+ years in B2B sales / business development
* Experience in at least one:
-HPC / supercomputing
-Data center / infrastructure
-AI infrastructure / cloud / service providers
* Proven experience in enterprise / complex sales
* Comfortable selling technical solutions
* Able to engage with: Directors of Operations, Infrastructure / HPC leads
* Strong autonomy, hands-on execution, and builder mindset

* Role open to Europe (remote)
