Business Data Analyst
The Business Operation Planning team within HOS-OPS is tasked with establishing a data driven decision making culture to assist in making business decisions to run the department. This role will focus on leveraging PowerBI and related tools to analyze large, complex datasets and deliver actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision making.
Your Main Responsibilities
Contribute to Reporting Framework
* Contribute to, and operate within established guidelines to ensure reporting built by the team is organized, scalable, and following best practices
* Follow industry standards for augmenting reporting in new areas of the company. Data extraction, transformation, and load needs to be done with the bigger picture in mind to enable synergies moving forward
Support analysis and execution
* Use KPIs and metrics to for scenario analysis, drilling into the data appropriately to find underlying trends and insight.
* Contribute to, and support action plans to address root cause issues when encountered
* Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, 'proposes process improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments
Process & Performance improvement
* Map and formalise processes associated with particular objectives or activities.
* Identify and measure key performance indicators to evaluate process effectiveness and efficiency.
* Identify best practices and propose process improvements, tools and techniques to increase process efficiency and improve performance
Management support
* Prepare presentations for division management (division strategy, activity, key figures, project progress)
* Provide regular management reports and dashboards
About the Ideal Candidate
* You have a degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Maths. Masters degree is a plus (Data Analytics, IA, Innovation)
* 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst
* You are enable to understand deep analysis and improvement plan and you have a strong theoretical knowledge of how to structure data queries.
* Ability to demonstrate technical mastery, analytical thinking, technical excellence, and communication skills to interact with different stakeholders.
* Knowledge with Microsoft Ecosystem Tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query)
* Knowledge of Python, Salesforce, and ServiceNow is considered a plus.
* Experience with data processing tools like Databricks & Snowflake is considered a plus.
* Knowledge of AI tools and experience automating processes.
