Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Madrid (on-site)
Salary: Starting at €26,000 DOE
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Officer to join our office in Madrid. This role requires an individual who will proactively engage and convert hot new business leads. They will conduct quality customer conversations to understand their needs and upsell and cross-sell solutions.
The successful Business Development Officer will need excellent communication and customer service skills, along with strong commercial acumen to proactively engage and drive new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Respond to inbound client queries via telephone, email, Zoom, or Teams.
2. Provide proactive outbound advice to clients (both new and existing).
3. Produce marketing material with external partners and other service providers.
4. Assist in maintaining partner relationships through organizing events and managing network groups.
5. Provide consultancy and VAT advisory services at the highest standard.
6. Manage a portfolio of clients expanding across the UK and Europe.
7. Ensure all databases and systems are accurate and complete.
8. Demonstrate and apply commercial acumen.
9. Collaborate positively with the team.
10. Suggest improvements to procedures by connecting with Managers and Directors.
11. Full training will be provided, even if previous experience in Accountancy is not present.
