Design, create, and implement particle effects and systems.Create visual effects that communicate essential game information.Push technical boundaries to implement AAA-quality VFX that breathe life into our games.Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to ensure high-quality visual effects that enhance the game experience.Propose new features and provide feedback to improve current tools.Guide and give constructive feedback to team members, fostering growth and collaboration.Maintain consistent visual effects quality through artistic feedback.Communicate risks, updates, and mitigations effectively across the studio.Your skills:
Experience with real-time VFX using Shuriken, Particle Graph, Cascade, or Niagara.Experience working on console titles.Strong portfolio demonstrating effects/projects with any engine.Knowledge of optimization for console and PC to achieve visual excellence.Ability to work well within a team.Organized, especially in VFX management and naming conventions.Proactive problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Fluent in spoken and written English.Experience leading and managing a team of VFX artists.Strong organizational and delegation skills, balancing operations and management.Experience in a video game studio at a senior or expert level.Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of simulation, post-processing, and shaders for debugging and understanding volumetric effects.Basic 3D knowledge.Understanding of textures and sprite sheets.Experience with proprietary engines.Not sure if you meet every requirement?
