You will take over different positions at the Mine site covering all the functions assigned in the Bulk Operations chain of responsibility, from Assistant Level, Technical Services, Manufacturing and Operations supervision.
Your Responsibilities:
- Overall, responsibility to assist on all related works of a blast and general operations include:
- Ensuring the correct priming, loading and right use of the hose during the loading of the hole.
- Following and assist blats procedures.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area and complying with H&S; policies.
- Assist on Overall responsibility for the Mobile Units.
- Assist on the Manufacturing and delivering of bulk products, ensuring correct quality control.
- Ensuring the correct operation, maintenance and all safety measures of the Units.
- Preparing the Unit for the blast in accordance with the Technical Manager instructions.
- Stock management.
- Distributing the onsite work for crew members.
- Working with the customer to optimize drilling and blasting practices.
- Troubleshooting malfunctioning loading system when required.
- Assist on Overall responsibility for the application of blasting plans, company and country policies regarding the use of explosives.
- Assist on the supervision of the manufacture and delivery of bulk products to the borehole.
- Ensuring that blasting plans are executed daily.
- Assist on distributing the onsite work for all crew members.
- Training customers on the application of Maxam products.
- Working with the customer to optimize drilling and blasting practices.
- Troubleshooting malfunctioning blastholes when required.
- General execution of all blasting plans.
- Reporting and control.
- Support the PM on site needs

Requirements:
- Mining Engineer or Mechanics, Electricity, Chemical, Naval or Civil Engineers
- Fluent Spanish and English
- An international mindset
The aim of this development program in the Mine site is to capacitate junior engineers to become future Project Managers for Mining international operations in MAXAM Organization, integrating these professionals into MAXAM's culture absorbing the company's know-how.
